On Monday May 6th, two Swain Maroon Devil golfers qualified to compete at the 1A West Regional tournament at Mountain Harbour in Hayesville. Junior Landon Harrison played his best round of the year and his career shooting an 89 (+17). This placed him tied for 35th but 6th within the Smoky Mountain Conference players competing. Senior Reese Winchester finished his day with a 100 (+28) placing him in 49th place. “As we close out the 2024 season, I am so proud of these two young men and the team as they continually push themselves to be better each and every day on and off the course,” stated Coach Crisp.
