Process for Annual Online Registration for Returning Students:

The following process is for students who attended Swain County Schools in the previous school year. Please follow these directions to complete the REQUIRED Annual Online Registration update:

 1. If you have not yet created an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account, go to https://portalaccess.ncsis.gov searching for Swain County Schools. You will be prompted to enter several pieces of information including your student's ID number to create your account. Contact your child's school if you need this information. NOTE: You only need to create ONE Parent Portal Account which will allow access to all of your students.

 2. If you have already created your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account, log in at https://870.ncsis.gov/parent.

3. Once your logged in, you should see your child or children's online registration form(s). Please complete all questions and electronically sign and submit.

Process for enrolling a NEW student(s) in Swain County Schools:

If you would like to enroll a new student to Swain County Schools, please follow these directions:

 1. Click the link to enroll your student (link)

 2. Once you have completed the online enrollment, please call the school to set up an enrollment appointment.  Please bring the student birth certificate, proof of residency, custody paperwork and driver's license for notary purposes.
